Anthony and Misty 4/1/24 The Clariona arrived safely and we're enjoying it. So well done and fast! It looks beautiful! The loudness startled me! Thirty-five years it's been collecting dust. What a joy to have it working so well!
Stephen 12/14/23 The organ arrived safely, it looks great and plays nicely, and I am very happy with it. Thanks for another fine restoration job, and best wishes for a very merry Christmas.

The Piccolo organette just arrived and it is absolutely gorgeous! Thank you very much! Regards, Barry 11/22/23 Harold,
To say I was pleasantly surprised at how well the Musette Organ turned out would be putting it mildly. Once again you worked your magic, could not be happier. Tim Braun 11/2/23 Harold,
I just wanted to say thanks for your help. The instructions (particularly the patterns for the bellows material) were a huge help. I had a lot of fun getting the unit up and running and it works great! Taking it back to the neighbor this evening, and I’m sure she’ll be thrilled. I know doing these restorations is more about love than money (same with my phonos) so just wanted to say your efforts in making parts and expertise available are appreciated. John Coffin 9/29/23 Greetings Harold,
I just wanted to let you know that my Aeolian Mandolina is still working and sounding great! Four years after you rebuilt the mechanics. Thanks again for doing a fantastic job on restoring it. Paul Kondig Merchandise well represented, packed well and very promptly shipped!
Greg Filardo The cobs ordered worked great and the cob storage boxes order were just what we needed. The order arrived quickly. With the restoration of the Gem Roller Organ and the additional suggestions made to us were great and much appreciated.
Odell Great service and products as always!
Larry Jaffee Harold, I appreciate all you do to help with the products to restore my roller organs. Everything I have purchased thus far has arrived quickly and the instructions provided have proved helpful. Thanks Jan The Cob Storage Boxes are great and I've been making my own labels for them. All the cobs I've bought from y'all have been clean and work perfectly.
silentbacchus I am happy with the product and the timing it arrived. But I am actually very happy to know that if I have a problem with my roller organ, I can contact you for knowledgeable repair work. Thank You Skeeter Harold Draper should be declared a national treasure, seriously. He restored my No. 2 Ariston Organette from Germany. He found it had a cracked reed block and needed just about everything. I have been in the organette community for many years and Harold is the only restorer that we all agree truly understands the Ariston and how to restore them correctly. Its not a skill, but rather an art because of the huge difficulty in regulation. They are not for the novice or faint of heart! Most restorers give up in despair on these.
His restoration produced an instrument that never ceases to astound me. The tuning, voicing and operation are totally spot on. I feel like I am in a Hofbrau House in Germany when I play it. I am so grateful for the work Harold does and his continued support of the organette community. Harold is absolutely the best of the best and has few peers in the world. Thank you Harold! Stuart McCaskill I've just purchased a beautiful 25 note Tournaphone organette from Roller Organ Restorations. Harold's restoration work I can say is meticulous and exacting. I say this because I've been involved in restoration myself for over 20+ years now. I can't fault anything with the restoration work that I have seen from Mr. Draper on this or any of the restored instrument that I've seen from him. I too am very familiar with the inner workings of these instruments. You will be happy you sent your organette or purchased one from Roller Organ Restorations. I will be sending more of my personal collection of organette's to restore and recommend that anyone else do also!
Cameron Dean Harold Draper restored my Gem Roller Organ. He worked wonders and now the organ is gorgeous. I have played all my favorite cobs and they sound great. I am so glad to have the organ in such beautiful condition.
Thank you!! Anne Cottrell I would like to take a moment to enthusiastically endorse the services of Mr. Harold Draper. To him, I sent a Mandolina which would barely wheeze; and in short order, I received a beautifully restored instrument which plays with excellent tone and strength.
Mr. Draper's work is simply stunning. I recommend this gentleman to anyone who wishes to have a top quality restoration completed for their organette. FIVE STAR SERVICE--and many thanks. Kelly Newsome Lexington, NC Mr. Draper, is an absolute wizard at restoring roller organs. I was extremely pleased with the beautiful job that he did on mine. It looks and plays much better than when I originally purchased it.
Sandy To those considering the use of Harold's services I can only say is... what are you waiting for! When it comes to organettes he knows his stuff and takes pride in the work he does. I have personally met him and had him work on 3 different machines and found the work excellent. He completely inside and out restored a concert roller organ for me and it looks and plays just like new. Down to earth fella with very reasonable prices. A++++
Daniel Davis Owner/Operator of A Step Back In Time Music Box Repair Hi Harold,
Your restoration of our Concert Roller Organ came out beautifully, sounds amazing, and the Historical Society is ecstatic. The cleaning you did was so good, Emily was convinced you repainted it. She couldn't believe the quality of the restoration job and is excited to show the organ to the original donor. I myself, am now wanting an organette for the home! Thanks again for doing such a quality job for us. We cannot recommend you enough. Bob Hennigar Jacksonville Historical Society Harold did a fantastic job on my 14 note Jubal. It was in pretty bad shape when I gave it to him. I couldn't believe it when I picked it up. It looked like it was new. He is a true artist.
John Wetzel Just wanted to say a big thank you to Harold for the work he did in restoring our old roller organ. Did a great job and now plays, I am sure, like it did when it was new.
Phoebe Astill Roseville Historical Society 557 Lincoln Street Roseville, Calif. 95678 (916) 773-3003 My husband & I found this little Gem Organ in my parent's basement, dated 1907. It had 110 years of dirt on it. We sent it to Harold & what a great job he did & fast turn around. He does excellent work!
Cindy The second organette Harold has restored for us is a 36-key "Giant" Ariston. Even though it is rare and he had to figure out the missing linkages and make some reproduction parts, the organette turned out fantastic. It was in terrible shape when we rescued it from a defunct antique store, but now we are proud to show it off to our friends.
Mike & Sandy I have the very good fortune of living about 45 minutes from Harold. I have visited him numerous times and seen his work firsthand. He is a miracle worker with any organette that reaches his shop...! He can take a rotted, crumbling reed block and create a new one! He seems to have the knowledge and resources to reproduce/repair whatever is missing on any organette. I have had him restore a number of my organettes and all have ended up playing beautifully. He has restored some he had not even done before, as my double reed Amabile, an Orchestrionette, and a tiny Piccolo. All play and look great now. Harold works until everything is just right...I can attest to that having seen and talked with him. He is indeed a treasure to those of us who have need of organette repair!
Barry Harold did a wonderful restoration on my Concert Roller Organ. It looks great, sounds great and I played it so much my wife went shopping.
Robert I and my siblings got this gem roller organ back in the 40's we had a make believe cafe in the trees behind the house, and we had this organ for our juke box, for music , after playing in the cafe we left it outside, and it rained that evening, and no one would go out and get it . It got ruined all the wood and veneer came apart on it . But I rescued it but needs to be rebuilt, my grandparents and uncles and aunts had played with it back in the early 1900's
Melford In the summer oh 2013, My dear aunt Verna gave me my granny's "crank organ". I have loved this organ as long as I could remember; every now & again (on special occasions) granny would let us (the 4 grandchildren) turn the crank, with adult supervision. Now 35 years later, I am the proud owner, of the one item of my granny's that I adored All my life. My roller organ is a "concert roller organ" with September 10, 1906 stamped on the bottom of the bellows. When I received the organette, The bellows no longer held air & my granny put duct tape over the little holes, & some of the little pads were gone & such. I wanted it to be totally restored keeping it as original as possible. Harold did a wonderful job!! I can't sing is praises enough . .. When we arrived to pick it up Harold told us, in detail, everything he did, my husband had questions & Harold happily answered them. To this day, I tell everyone who will listen about my fabulous organette & the most awesome man that restored it. My granny & my dad were both originally from Missouri, so I felt a connection when going back, meeting Harold & picking up my "crank organ". Thank you Harold for making my organ complete & for bring back a little part if my family' history. I can't thank you enough!! God's Blessings to you & your family!

Paul Having purchased a nice walnut Concert Roller Organ and now looking for a 24 note Ariston, this is the number one source for items and parts.
Thanks, Trond Harold, you have done a magnificent job restoring my Concert Roller Organ and I am thrilled. My great niece, to whom I am passing it along, will have such a wonderful time playing it. I took pre-and post-restoration photos and she will be amazed at how beautiful it now looks, and that it plays now! I had a chance to play a few cobs before I shipped it to her, and it was WONDERFUL!
Thank you again so much for the craftsman you are! Cynthia Harold does a fantastic job restoring these old crank organs. I bought a Gately 14 note from him & am very pleased with his work.
Sam Hello Harold,
We received the Organette today. WOW! What an amazing job you did on this instrument. Everyone that has heard it is impressed with the sound and workings. We ordered up 3 music rolls from Pipes Of Pan, so had them ready to play as soon as we unwrapped the organette. Woe to any client that rents this out and messes it up! We’re so excited about this that we will come up with a prominent display spot in our music department. Again, than you so much for your help and tremendous job. Well worth the investment! Best regards, Gary Aardahl History For Hire What a beautiful piece of work, Harold. Our organette was a big challenge we know and we are so happy to have it on display in our home. We will cherish it always and pass it on to our children in the future. We thank you so much for sharing your expertise and for handling our treasure with care.
